I started practising yoga in 2007, during an artist residency in Germany, and right away felt more relaxed and more reconciled with my body. Since then, I have been looking at the body as well as the movement through my research, my PhD in Philosophy and Performing Arts, and my own art practice. I was also influenced by contemporary dance and butoh (Japanese dance) before coming back to yoga which allows me to discover myself, live in the present and feel healthy.
Performer and visual artist, I have been a theatre professor for four years at the University of Bristol in England and also at a theatre Company in Paris. In my classes I insist on letting go, but I can go deeper with yoga. So I decided to start a professional yoga training in India, with Samyak Yoga (RYT-200 Yoga Alliance) and started giving my first yoga classes in 2016.
My passion and my enthusiasm for yoga lead me very naturally towards Jivamukti Yoga which integrates principles of yoga philosophy and spreads compassion for all beings. I completed my Jivamukti Teacher Training in India and received my diploma from my mentors : Sharon Gannon (co-founder of Jivamukti Yoga), Jules Febre, Yogeswari, and HaChi in 2017.
Teaching yoga allows me to share its benefits, its feelings which combine tonic effect and relaxation.
Art, theatre and yoga are for me essential practices to understand ourselves, to open ourselves to others and to be more awake to our surroundings.
